Nicolás Lejtreger is a Uruguayan cinematographer based between London and Montevideo, with a passion for storytelling, collaboration, and creating evocative, atmospheric visuals.

Since beginning his filmmaking journey in 2010, Nico has lensed narrative films, documentaries, commercials, music videos, and creative projects across more than 15 countries. Highlights include capturing the life of Latin music legend Rubén Rada in a feature documentary, venturing through La Habana with a Cuban contemporary dance company, and travelling to Iceland to film the Northern Lights.

He holds both EU and Uruguayan passports, UK residency, and is fluent in Spanish, English, French, and Portuguese — ready to collaborate wherever the story takes him. Whether working with a seasoned crew or a small, agile team, Nico values creative synergy, curiosity, and a shared sense of purpose — always seeking to bring depth, beauty, and intention to every frame.
